I just love my iphone soccer games. I think they help me re-live my childhood soccer memories when I let my imagination run wild. Hours of my summer holidays were spent in the garden playing soccer with a makeshift goal and a few garden items to act as opposition players.
USA Basketball
I will start with an admission that I am currently slightly hooked on this game. Be warned it is one of those games that you may not be able to put down for a while. On the face of it you may ask why – after all it’s just shooting hoops right? Well let me attempt to explain…
iBasket
I never was a basketball gun. Lay-ups were always a bit of a foreign concept and always seemed to bounce off the board and back into the court. I do however remember a moment at school when playing a game in gym class. I received the ball with my back to the net outside the 3 point line. In one fluid movement I caught it jumped, turned and floated a shot which cleanly entered the net. I guess I was just in the zone in that moment. I will never forget the look on the face of the gym teacher that day. I game him a wry smile as if that is exactly what I expected to happen.

Speedball2 is a sports genre in it’s own right and an all time classic. As you can imagine I was very excited to discover that you can now get Speedball2 for the iphone – and it certainly lives up to my expectations.

Konami has been developing the Pro Evolution Soccer series since 2001. The iphone version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 is a very playable and enjoyable game with all the familiarity of the current series.
